My flight wasn't until 4:15pm so I had a few hours this morning to enjoy a little bit more of London. With the rain holding off (thank you, Mother Nature!) I took a walk down to Notting Hill. I had been there when I came to London in September but I just HAD to go back for one more cupcake at the Hummingbird Bakery. I had forgotten how AMAZING they are...it just about made me want to cancel my flight home! haha
But no, I didn't do that...I was on the plane at 4:15 as scheduled, and back in Toronto about 8 hours later. I can't believe my trip has ended...where did the time go? These last few months have been a blur- so many trains, planes, hostels, new people, amazing food, amazing scenery...how lucky am I?! I'm glad that I still feel "lucky" and haven't taken it all for granted. Not many people get to experience what I have these past 10 weeks, and its something I will never forget!
Thank you for checking out my blog and "joining" me on my journey. I hope you enjoyed my stories....and hopefully I didn't bore you too much talking about FOOD most of the time! haha I plan on continuing the blog...maybe not writing every day, but at least every once in a while to keep you up to date on what I'm up to! And who knows, I could be off on another crazy adventure before you know it!
