Love, Love, LOVE!

Although I am always excited to try new things, move to new cities, and meet new people, it is also bittersweet because that means I am leaving places and people behind that I truly love. I am so blessed to have such amazing friends and family- people I know I can always count on, no matter how far away I am.


Since I have moved around so much in the last few years, I've really discovered who my true friends are, and those who are not. Those who fall into the latter are the people who say "Keep in touch" and then all of a sudden disappear off the face of the earth- not responding to your emails and ignoring your phone calls. They're the people who promise they'll come visit and then something comes up- every time. It's disappointing and it hurts, but at least it makes it clear to me how important I am to them.


A real friend is someone who knows you inside and out. You can sit in silence together without it being an "awkward silence". You can call them up after not talking for months and its as if no time has passed. Whether its a phone call, an email or a plane ride away, you know that they are there for you.


No matter how many great people I meet on my trip, no one will compare to the strong relationships and friendships I have now. I'll miss everyone so much, and if you end up missing me too, you are more than welcome to hop on a plane and join me in Europe! Can't wait to see you all again.
