Splurge!

Yesterday was my last chance to get my parents, my brother and my sister all together before I left for Europe, so in celebration of that we had an amazing feast for dinner! It was nothing fancy, just some good 'ol comfort food, but I ate my heart out! We had TWO appetizers, sausages AND hamburgers, potato salad AND macaroni salad, and TWO pies for dessert (with ice cream)! I gotta give a shout out to my momma for making such a yummy meal (and for almost putting me in a food coma).

Another thing I splurged on was my new camera which I finally got today! I am waiting patiently for the battery to charge so I can play around with it and take some practice shots. I plan on taking a TON of pictures on my trip (I got a nice big memory card to do so!) and I can't wait to show them off to you! Maybe if my plan of getting my blog turned into a movie and making millions of dollars doesn't work out I can become a famous photographer instead. Ansel Adams, watch out!

I will leave you now with a pic from last night. My dad is not impressed with me AT ALL. And I wonder why I don't have a boyfriend...PS. No, I didn't eat ALL of that (although I think I did end up eating my body weight in food when it was all said and done!)
